To make trades via the Internet, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, login using your user ID and password (if you haven't already done so), make your trades as needed, submit them and record the confirmation number you receive for them.
During the Contest, you can make unlimited trades. However, each player or team goalie that you obtain must be from the same box as the player or team goalie that you drop.
Deadline and Stat Week
The weekly deadline for trades is 5 minutes prior to the first game on Monday each week. If there are no games on Monday, the deadline will be 6:00 PM CT on Monday. Trades made after the deadline are not effective until the following week. The first trade deadline is on Monday, May 6, 2013. The first week of the Contest is Tuesday, April 30th through Sunday, May 5th. All other stat weeks are Monday through Sunday.
Using the Hockey Pool Playoff point-scoring method, points are accumulated each stat week (consisting of games played Monday through Sunday) by all 10 players and 2 team goalies on your team based on the following statistics:
|Shot On Goal||0.20|
|(Points will be added or subtracted for each Plus or Minus players receive.)|
To determine standings, all teams in the Contest are sorted by each team's total points. The team with the highest point total finishes first and the team with the lowest point total finishes last.
Points are accumulated weekly for all 10 players and 2 team goalies. The week begins with games played on Monday and ends with games played on Sunday, with the exception that the first week of the Contest begins Tuesday, April 30th and ends Sunday, May 5th.
All points accumulated by the players on your team roster, regardless of what position they actually play during the Contest, contribute to your team's points total. All points accumulated by all goalies playing on the teams of your team goalie selections contribute to your team's point totals.
1 point will be subtracted from team goalie points for a shootout loss. No other points are awarded for shootout statistics.
Team and goalie penalty minutes that are served by a player are not credited to the player, and, thus, the player serving the team or goalie penalty minutes will receive no points.
A player's points, as well as team goalie points, are added to your team's point totals only during the weeks that he is on your team roster. Points by a player or team goalie before he was on your roster, points by a player or team goalie after he was dropped from your roster, and pre-season and playoff points do not contribute to your team's point totals.
